It's right off the M3 - and junction 11 goes to the uni easy.
From the South it's only abouy 13 miles from Southampton and Basingstoke a but more 'Oop North' in Hants is less than 17 miles ( I think).
- Train is very handy indeed - and a 10 minute (max.!) walk from Uni of Winchester's main campus. Buses everywhere as well. Places to visit nearby: Eastleigh! Portsmouth's famous dockyward or posh shops. London! (60 mins). Bournemouth or the new forest. Plus more!
