Are you starting in September 2008 - your thoughts?

Am going into the 2nd year of performance management in september, anyone wants to get in touch would be greatly appreciated.

I will be starting Drama Studies in sept Cannot wait. yay

I'm starting creative writing in september (assuming I get in! *crosses fingers*). Excited yes, but hoping I can find some other people on the course before I go so I know people there when I turn up!

Just thought I'll say Hi. I'm hoping to study Creative Writing this September ...so excited!

Hi! I'm going to be starting American Studies with American Literature this sept, and I'm experiencing that annoyingly volatile mix of nerves and excitement that I'm sure all of you are familiar with haha...
Don't know anyone at all who's going to Winchester, so hope to see you all there, good to talk to people before we go yeah?

I'm going to be doing Drama and Media Production in September.

I need friends before I go otherwise I'll just sit in my room hiding in a cupboard. Probably crying as well.

Anyone got student housing?

I got student housing: west downs halls, house 17 I think.
Any one else got a place to live yet?
The more information I get about it the more nervous I get, is any one else feeling that or is it just me?

I'm in west downs too. House 54 apparently. Kinda confusing seen as I only counted something like 23 houses on the campus map

Yeah the more I hear the more nervous I'm getting as well. Although the only thing I'm actually worried about is making friends. I'm kinda slightyl scared of people lol so it's going to be interesting to suddenly be left alone in a house full of people I don't know!

That's why I wanna make friends before I go, so I don't have to hide in a room for the next 3 years...

Yeah the prospect of being thrown in a house with a load of people you don't know is slightly terrifying!
I can honestly see myself locked away in my room too afraid to come out and talk to the other people there
Hopefully every one else will be feeling the same way and it'll be a little easier for us to talk to people.
At the very least you know that some people (i.e. me) are really nervous too- it's not a solo affliction

OK i'm jealous of emily- you found someone who's gonna be in your house!
I've also yet to find someone doing the same subject as me. (I may be wrong though- forgive me if I have found you but I have an awful memory!)
What's happening with everyone? i.e. moving in days, subjects, freshers fortnight (I'm looking forward to that!)

I'm going to do primary education with special needs!

I can't wait either, i'm in west downs 7 it hasnt quite sunk in yet!
